Sapheda in Hindi and Gujarati speaks to the colour of snow, of milk, a shade familiar to our heritage.
This piece carries stretches the lives we’ve lived: Indian by culture, born in London, raised in Kenya. Each layer reflects a part of that journey.
The T-shirt is cut with an asymmetric hem, borrowing from South Asian tailoring traditions we grew up seeing in kurtas and Indo-Western silhouettes. We reimagined those references into something understated and contemporary.
Built in two layers, Sapheda wraps a soft cotton outer around a ribbed inner foundation, almost like a stencil sitting over structure.
